Just wanted to add my similar experience with sleep states.
I do not have Hibernate enabled, however I do have my PC set to go into S3 sleep. The end result is the same as others expressed. System wakes up, pertelian lights up, and that's it.
The only difference is that I do not need to unplug the LCD to get it going again. I only need to shut down the Pert application and restart it. This of course only lasts until the next time the computer goes to S3 sleep. This is extremely annoying as it turns the LCD into an irritating eyesore until I can't stand it any more and in despair, shutdown and restart the pertelian.
Configuratin I'm using;
Pert v5
WinXP Home Edition w/SP3
foxconn mb 720MX AM2+ NF720A
AMD Phenom 9600 Quad-Core
I get the same results regardless if the LCD is plugged directly to the USB on the back of the PC or through a Powered USB hub (CyberPower 4 port).
I also tested this issue using
PassMark Sleeper Software. The result is repoduceable and consistant.
Regards,
Bruce
